Prior to February 1 - Full refund
February 1 - February 28 - 50% refund
March 1 or later - No refunds
Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances; please contact us directly via email to discuss. Any medical exceptions will need to be supported by a doctor’s note stating the camper is prohibited from participating fully in camp activities.
All refunds are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.
Camp registration is non-transferable In the event that your child cannot attend camp, please reach out to andrea@campviva.com to discuss any potential options available.
Pickup time is 2:00 PM each day, unless otherwise arranged with Camp Viva staff. Failure to pick your child up on time will result in a charge of $5/minute for up to 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, if a parent or legal guardian cannot be reached, Camp Viva reserves the right to call the Braintree Police and/or the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to arrange proper care for children who have not been picked up.
We reserve the right to change the location of the camp in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In the event that the location must change due to circumstances outside of our control, we will make every effort to relocate it to a similar location in the Town of Braintree.
Children should come to camp with weather-appropriate clothes, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen applied, a water bottle, morning snack, and a lunch. Children should not bring any electronics, toys, trading cards, or any other personal items. Camp Viva is not responsible for any prohibited items brought to camp.
Weather Policy: All campers will spend time indoors and outdoors during camp and should dress appropriately for the weather daily. Camp Viva will evaluate weather on a daily basis and may need to adjust activities based on weather conditions and available space.
Attendance Policy: No refunds will be made in the event that your child must miss part of a week due to illness.
Medical Records Requirement: The Braintree Board of Health, which licenses Camp Viva, requires that all campers submit a recent physical which states that the camper is cleared to participate in camp activities, along with a list of their immunizations received. Additionally, parents/guardians must complete a Health Form with your camper’s medical history, insurance information, and other pertinent medical information. Camp Viva will send this request separately in the Spring. Failure to complete this request by the deadline given will result in the camper’s withdrawal from Camp Viva with no refund given.
Media/Photography Waiver: Parents/guardians will be sent a photography waiver after signing up for Camp Viva. This waiver is not optional; you must sign and agree to the waiver in order for your child to participate in Camp Viva. Camp Viva staff will occasionally take photos and videos of camp activities to promote the camp through official Camp Viva channels - Facebook and campviva.com.
