Andrea Foley - Director

Andrea has over a decade of experience as an educator working with children on a daily basis.  She began her career as a middle school Spanish teacher at the nationally recognized Jonas Clarke Middle School in Lexington, MA.  After teaching Spanish for 4 years, she moved on to become a Tier III general education intervention specialist in the same school.  In this position, she worked individually with students transitioning from special education to general education.  Andrea also worked with struggling students in general education to provide them with the skills they needed to succeed in school. 

Andrea also spent two years as an Assistant Principal at the McDevitt Middle School in Waltham, MA.  After becoming a Mom in 2015, Andrea decided to return to the classroom and currently teaches elementary school Spanish in Needham, MA.

Andrea grew up in Braintree, where she was a 4-year Varsity athlete in soccer, track and field, and gymnastics, as well as a captain in each sport.  She attended Simmons College, where she was a member of the Varsity Women's Soccer team for 4 years.  At Simmons, Andrea received a dual B.A. in Education and Spanish as well as a minor in Nutrition.  Andrea also holds an M.Ed. in Special Education and an M.Ed. in Organizational Management from Endicott College.

Andrea's hobbies include baking, gardening, traveling, and chasing around her four very active children!
